Throughout my early thirties, my dental health suddenly went from bad to worst. One treatment led to another, temporary solutions replaced long-term ones, and eventually, things reached a point where difficult decisions could no longer be avoided.

While living in Germany, I was told that several teeth beneath the few large bridgeworks I had were infected, and that all structures would need to be removed to extract them.

I was terrified of what would come next. According to my health insurance, my only realistic option after extraction would be removable prostheses on both arches.

At 33, that felt impossible to accept.
But so did the alternative.

When I asked about dental implants in Germany, I was verbally quoted over €50,000, a price far beyond what I could afford. I remember clearly that it was never put in writing. It didn’t need to be.

That search eventually brought me back to my home country, Romania. The process wasn’t easy, but it worked, and it changed my life. It inspired me to help others understand their rights and obtain tangible, significant benefits through cross-border dental care.
